I picked up the two little DLCs for Orcs Must Die at a little price...

Didn't buy them last time because I doubted their worth, the game was good so bought them now...

I have heard great things about the game and have thought about selling Madden on eBay for money toward it but the season will probably be over by the time that happens haha.

I actually just bought BF3 obviously, and then picked up an Xbox 360 w/ Kinect and got me some FIFA 12 and Madden 12...

So many games in the last month or so.

Skyrim
Battlefield 3
Saints Row 3
SWTOR
Divinity II (when it was $7 or whatever on steam)
Orcs Must Die (when it was on super sale)
Dead Island (when it was on super sale)

Haven't really had any major complaints with any of them so far, so thats a pretty amazing outcome. Then again my expectation going into games these days is rock bottom, so anything that runs without issue and isn't actively masochistic I will probably not have too much of an issue with.

I hear you here completely, and I think you are right for the most part. I think if I didnt play online/clubs on it I am not sure I would get it each year. Its really to keep up with the times and playing online. I guess you could think of it as, downloading of patches for a PC game (kinda), granted patches are free but you get the idea I think.

I dont buy them each year for really any other game other than FIFA and depending on who of my friends get it next year will really determine if I get it again. Like I said, playing online is the big draw for me personally. Madden is not something I buy every year and I really only got it this year on Black Friday because it was $28 and I knew I could flip it for $50 or so.

Regardless, I hear what you are saying and pretty much agree.

IW effectively stole $60 from me. Hopefully the campaign is good when i come around to playing singleplayer.
