Ever wonder why guys are afraid of marriage? First world problems and all, but holy shit:

Hulk Hogan Headed for Divorce
Apparently, Hulk Hogan doesn't know best when it comes to his marriage.

The retired wrestler was reportedly blindsided by the news that his wife, Linda Marie Bollea, had filed for divorce after 24 years together.

So much for 50/50. Linda Bollea received more than 70% of the couple's liquid assets. But the pain doesn't stop there for the Hulkster. His ex also received a 40% ownership stake in Hulk's companies. Plus, she received a $3 million property settlement (more on that below).

So, what are the gritty details? According to the documents, Linda Bollea got a lump sum of $7.44 million from the couple's investment accounts. The remaining $2.97 million went to the Hulk.

The properties were either sold or are still on the market. The couple's home used in "Hogan Knows Best" was originally listed for nearly $14 million. It is now available for around $8.87 million. Once that sells, Hogan will owe his ex-wife $1.45 million. The two will split the remaining proceeds.
Additionally, Linda Bollea received several cars in the split, including a Mercedes-Benz, a Corvette, a Cadillac Escalade, and a Rolls-Royce. Hulk received many of the remaining automobiles.

There's still this, I guess. Don't know if there's any truth to it, but:

Every guy I know who's gone through a divorce has really gotten the raw end of the deal, and for petty offenses against the as well like "he wasn't listening to me." WTF-ever. One of my uncles was stuck paying child support for kids living at his ex's new husband's house while he was stuck rooming with two other people to pay rent. While his ex talked shit about him to his kids.

The more I hear about these foul endings, the more the prospect of marriage roils my stomach. Want a prenuptial agreement? Well, you must not love her enough. And don't forget the blood diamond.

Without doing too much research, the news I've seen says she gets 70% of liquid assets, 40% of various ownership interests in companies, and a $3 million property settlement.

Depending on the value of the Bollea's property holdings, her take may be under 50%.

I.e., if they have $10 million locked up in property, she's only getting 30% of that.

It's complicated further because it appears that the value of their home is being split using a different method (any remaining payments under the property settlement get cut from the top, then the value is split 50-50)

From the reddit thread. Take it with a rather large grain of salt.

If the above guy is right, it seems to be about 50/50. He also seems to have escaped alimony payments. It's still bullshit though. The family's wealth is a direct result of Hulk Hogan and no else. How much of the income she deserves for just lying under him while he provided is certainly questionable. I also don't see how the person who was in the car with their son deserves a payout. Last I checked about the story no one put a gun to the kids head and told him to get into a car with his drunk friend. I'm getting a 'fuck him' feeling.

Go for it.. there is no missile shield that will stop a sustained icbm attack. A missile shield in Europe is intended to protect certain (NATO) European states from rogue attacks from other (non-Russian) countries.. as I understand it.
