Based on how "Render.drawFps" command works, did you try adding a zero after it to disable it (“UI.DrawEnable 0”), and then a 1 to re-enable it ? Use the exact Case?bugz wrote:

Yeah I have to play at 1280x800 to get any decent FPS and tear shit up but consequently the chat box is fucking huge because it doesn't scale with resolution.

The chatbox was a pain in the ass on early BC2 patches aswell, still have been recently... wish they would just make one similar to the simple one in steam-games like CSS... or at least make it optional...

I wish they could just cut and paste the entire BF2 interface into this. It gave you far more information, was far faster and easier to read and use, and the chatbox didn't take up the entire right hand side of the screen.

Seriosly, they need to try less to make it pretty and more to make it practical...
Dead Space had some of the best UI ever... NONE...
Of course that wouldn't fit Battlefield, but DICE needs a lecture tbh...
