GTA was invented by DMA Design (Edinburgh, Scotland), which later changed their name to Rockstar North, when they were bought up by Rockstar Games.

Yeah I like the Scots a bit better since they've made this rather kickass series...

Too early for leaked screenshots. Rockstar is good at many things, but keeping a lid on their projects is one they're very, very good at.

Don't think there is any information about it at all.

It's just speculation but that's the closest thing people have for a release date and I think 2405 appeared as an address one or two more times in that video too.

That really seems like reading in to something that isn't there.

I'd happily eat my words, though.

Somebody posted this on the Gamespot forums claiming to be a friend of a recently fired Rockstar employee, they were then banned and the topic deleted, but Google cached the thread:

I'm pretty sure a lot of this stuff was mentioned anyway by that Scottish guy a while back but hearing it again seems to maybe confirm a few things

Police chases are now way more than either running or driving. Depending on how wanted you are, police may bring out riot shields and flash bangs.

Police cars will go after you if you're obviously breaking the speed limit. Having high speed crashes will also damage your health

All sorts of controversy around this, some say it's fake, others say it's an "intentional" Rockstar leak for some free publicity, etc. I'm not sure myself, but some of the information sounds legitimate, while some of it sounds like the typical extra video game hype. I remember all the bullshit people where spouting off GTA IV would have before release when it really didn't.

From what I hear, Rockstar is in full-force promoting Max Payne 3, after that has released their attention will turn to GTA 5, hopefully by releasing another trailer, screenshots, info, or anything really.

2013 release is too long away.

Indeed.
Hope this also includes fender bender accidents, especially the ones where you hit a police car, as well as jumping a red light or other similarly severe violations.

If I remember right, that's one of the things Mafia did was fuck up your cars (and you) upon collision.

Both the realistic cop behavior and crash damage were things I didn't like about Mafia, I can appreciate the extra gadgets and features they're adding to cops in GTA V, but I really don't want them to add cops taking notice of speeding or taking damage from crashes outside of getting launched through the windshield.  Mafia showed me exactly how annoying it is and I know for sure that I won't like it at all if they add it unless it's somehow implemented differently.

^Exactly, I feel like those gameplay elements worked for Mafia a lot better because it was entirely story-driven and realistic gameplay. While it wouldn't hurt GTA to adopt some of those elements (for example, needing to change your clothes or car right after you lose the cops), adding things like a one star wanted level for speeding or running a red light just seems pointless and would be extremely unpopular throughout the community.

I don't think I would mind that so much as long as the police don't know where you are even when they can't see you. They should check the area they last saw you head in, not automatically know you've made multiple turns just because you're still on their radar. You should be able to hide from the cops and force them to search for you, using flashlights, dogs, pointing citizens, etc. If you're in a car and get out, but they don't see you get out, they shouldn't know automatically that it was you in the car. If you're on foot you need to get out of the search zone for a certain amount of time, get in a car, go inside a building, change clothes or hide where they don't find you.

There had been rumors that they were going to be in GTAIV as well. When people saw the trailer showing the toll booths people freaked out. And in the end the toll booths became an afterthought.
