Yea, there is a difference there, but Ultra destroys my GTX460 at 1920x1080. It was still playable, but with enough lag to make it annoying. The difference in the textures was also negligible...FEOS wrote:

That was what I was happy about since I own a HD6970, and play at high settings.

And it's less that it's 8 fps, it's more that it's still a difference of 15.5 on the high end...and less than 40 fps on the Radeon card. Again, just looking strictly at performance data. Taking cost into account would certainly change the perspective...but none of that info was offered for consideration.
