My G3 is now my third most kill count weapon. Top two are the default Supports. That'll change soon enough.

Standard M16 and AK-74 are good enough. M416 is a carbine and Assault troops are better than carbines. Just unlocked AEK Athens, let's see how this gun is
AEK is definitley the standout gun to me after playing with all of the rifles. The 3 shot burst makes it like the G36E from Battlefield 2.
I prefer auto or single than burst tbf.
I wish the game rewarded you for semi-automatic fire. With the current recoil and deviation there is no need for semi-automatic fire. I wish accuracy was significantly lower when firing in 5+ round bursts at long range so that semi could actually have a use.

The AEK has 0 stopping power. It shoots rapidly, so it's good for taking out one enemy at a time, but it's useless in a firefight against multiple badies.
The G3 is powerful but too slow and can be outgunned in most situations.
The KH2002 still stands out as one of the best well rounded weapons.

Really SM? I barely hold the trigger down and fire about 4-5 rounds on target and get kills with the AEK, and that's at medium range. The gun has zero recoil and pretty decent damage.

That's the AEK's only weakness. But at medium to long range it's game over. Plus it's automatic so it holds its own at close range.Superior Mind wrote:

If this game was only short to medium range shooting I would use the G3 all the time. Nothing beats it at short to medium range.
The KH2002's only strength is long range shooting.
Can't stand the burst fire weapons.
