pretentious to the max.
you're telling me the reason you bought it was because it was more 'economical'? you calculated that it would save you money... in 10 months? we're talking shaving gear here, monthly pocket change. you go to a barber's in covent garden for a shave like that, maybe once a year before a special occasion to feel spruced up. anything else and you're just indulging your own fancy - don't try and bullshit about money-saving!
Yeah, it saves money after 10 months...I only mentioned that because someone mentioned the cost.
Also, now I feel special and spruced every other day! And yeah, I'm indulging, there's nothing wrong with that and I like quality stuff.

It's only actually the initial outlay which is more expensive, it's cheaper in the long run. Think about how much you pay for some standard Gilette super gamer stealth fusion power pro 99 edition blades! They're like....£18 for 8 and each blade lasts a few shaves, so maybe a week. So that's a big cost outlay right there. Then there's the shaving gel which is ~£4 a can which will last a month or so.
Where the fuck do you shop? Also if each blade only lasts you a week, something is wrong.
A blade lasts me around a month, or so and they don't cost £18 for 8, more like £18 for 12, you can easily shave for under £25 a year, foam is a £1 a can too not £4
That's standard prices from a supermarket for Gillette blades and Gillette shaving foam.

yeah but you don't get to feel like you're upper-middle class
Multi blade razors is 100% a marketing fad, the only benefit is the speed of the shave, but even that is debatable if you're an experienced DE shaver.
And yes, I feel awesome, that too
