East coast is best option. West coast players are in the same country and Yuros are closer to the server incase they want to play with somewhat high ping.

really, as long as the server's near a backbone, pings should be decent anywhere . . .

Can the server be at any of the red nodes?
If we just had the interest of North American players in mind I would say Chicago.

Chicago or Dallas. any backbone node would be good access, but it depends how far away you are.

If there is to be only one server, then New York/upper East Coast is best.
If it goes the N. America/Euro/Aussie route, then Chicago for the US server.

I think we should have the server in Los Angeles so that the Aussies and New Zealanders can join us. I used to play on an NZed server during BF2 it was fun.

The Aussies have got one, tbh you cant expect to run a server to cater for everyone in a global community, you're gonna need multiple servers to achieve that
