i haven't slept like a baby in about three months. it takes me forever to fall asleep because I have way too many thoughts racing in my head, and I get shitty sleep each night and wake up feeling groggy and not wanting to get out of bed.

how do I fix this?

Turn off the PC a few hours before sleep, stop watching TV aswell if you can.

It has been found that the colour blue makes a gland in your brain release a chemical keeping you awake, so avoid blue lights.

Also don't eat before bed. Have a warm bath and relax yourself. Maybe read a book. Turn the lights off and go the fuck to sleep.

That's strange Adams. I've been eating before going to bed, watching tv/laptop as well and I fall asleep in 5-15 minutes.

I have audiobooks on my ipod. The dulcet tones of Stephen Fry ALWAYS send me to sleep in under 10 mins. I know this because I set a 10 minute sleep timer on the ipod and pretty much always fall asleep before it switches off.

I've heard that eating something sugary or with carbohydrates does something to your body to slow down adrenaline and make you sleep for longer or something. But that was for how to not wake up after 3 hours of sleep after being on the piss... this always happens to me. Fucking hate that shit.
