Dealt with it in baseball in '94 and basketball in 99. Still black marks in my eyes. I don't count the 99 Spurs as champions because of the shortened season. It's fucking stupid that these people can't come to an agreement.

The players will earn from six figures up to $1 million for their participation, sources tell ESPN. The “bigger the names, the bigger the paychecks,” according Yahoo! Some of the proceeds will go to charity.

Atlanta business mogul Calvin Darden, along with the players’ agents, have been planning the venture for about three months, ESPN reports. Darden wants the games to be broadcast internationally, including in the U.S.

A settlement of the labor deal would obviously mean the tour won’t go off, and ESPN reports the tour “has not yet been finalized and there's still a chance it could unravel.”

theres been optimism for a deal lately. some are saying they'll have a deal done by Friday

also: lebron, cp3m and a few others mysteriously dropped out of the world tour. maybe because nba is starting soon?
