In ArmA 2 firefights were really slow but intense. I don't know what you're talking about. Often times (in coordinated games with TS and stuff) you'd have an enemy team defending a city and you'd be attacking from a forest and there'd be hundreds of tracers everywhere. It's frantic shooting all over the place in suppressive fire. Very intense and fun. Then you have to get creative and try to flank them or get fire superiority, etc.
When I'd play warfare mode I'd get my M136 rifleman, corpsman, m249 SAW gunner, and myself as an M16A4 rifleman and an M2 .50 HMMWV and I'd park on this ridge overlooking Guglovo and I'd spot and assign targets for my men while they stayed behind a stone wall I'd ordered them to hold at, and at those ranges the AI fires but innacurately so the whole time you have this huge battle with a .50 firing and a bunch of .223s flying down range making cool tracers and from the other end you have a similar scenario shooting at us. Really cool hearing the .50 fire with my bass on max.
Anyways, so in BC2 you get a similar affect in certain Rush games when there's a stalemate and the positions are locked and there's tons of fire going each way. So cool

BF2 = Requires Quicker Reflexes, Quicker/Better Movement which translates into more intense infantry battles.

But I still want a commrose (in the full game atleast) for saying stuff like "need a ride?" "Gimme a lift" "I need backup" and so on.
