Not exactly true... I got a number of grants, scholarships, and tuition breaks from the school because I am part Native American. I did not fill that out on the paperwork, but found out my parents did. I declined the money, because I think it is racist, to be honest. It pisses me off and goes against everything I believe in. I don't think I should be given money because of an ancestor that had no control over who they were born to either. That just doesn't make since in a nation that is supposed to be EQUAL.Macbeth wrote:

However, the school was allowed to accept all of those offers on my behalf, even after I declined them, and then they got additional grants for having so many minorities attending their school...
So yes, I paid less for my brownies because of my race than whitey did. It is a great analogy. The only thing they could have added would be to not let the white guy into the bake sale at all, cause there wasn't enough room.
