put +fullscreen 0 in the target field of the shortcut and it'll give you an error message. it's probably the default resolution being incorrect in video.con.

i can't get spec forces working I've installed bf2, patched it to 1.41 and 1.5, installed spec forces, and I still get "unmodified content only blabla revert to bla bla" when I try and join a server.
