I was simply pointing out the contradiction between you saying that people should require ambition, motivation and determination to go to university, and then you said that parents paying for their kids university is fine.

Do you honestly think that someone who has their parents pay for university has any more ambition, motivation and determination than someone who takes a loan from the government to do university?

Nope, some people simply require more of it if they want to make it. As I said life isn't fair. Tough shit. There is no contraction. There are 100's of avenues one can take to achieve their goals. Some are harder roads to travel than others. That is life. Just because you have a tougher road than someone else is no reason to burn down their business, or loot their stores. All that was accomplished was on top of being fuckin losers, they are also criminals. Congrats.

Ok lowing you did contradict yourself but hey i'll even let that one slide, at least you kind of clarified your position. But for the love of god can you please stop acting as if everyone else in the world that has different ideas to you is somehow grouped together is some great anti-lowing conspiracy. I never said life is fair. I never said parents shouldn't help their children. I don't have "wealth envy". I never approved of what these looters did and I am not part of some grand wealth distribution communist conspiracy.

People have been Rioting over here for 100s of years. But we always rioted for the traditional things like hate of other religions and the state. Although the last wave of Rioting in Northern Ireland was organised. Public money had been cut for "community" projects. Which is basically a way of legally paying "ex" terrorists to be community leaders, give them a wage and stop them dealing drugs, racketeering and basically shooting people.
When that money was cut these "community leaders" where filmed out on the streets directing 12-18 year olds who burnt the place to shit. Then the blame was put on the state because these kids now have nothing to do because funding was cut.

The English Riots where shopping. Plain and simple. But, is it not the politicians who should be setting an example of how to conduct yourself? They are the ones who continually preach about morals and what not. They are people who should be setting an example to the youth. They should practice what they preach. The MPs expenses scandal did not set a good example to the youth. Our ex home secretary stole

Actually  I didn't. Unless you can point how where saying "life ain't fair, tough shit" is a contradiction.

I have said nothing about "anti lowing" anything. THis thread is about a group of assholes that because the govt. isn't coddling them like they think they should, decide to rampage the streets and destroy the hard work and efforts of those that have accomplished something.
