A2 can easily be adapted for attachments. You can remove the hand guards and put a rail system on, and the A2 can mount optics and stuff atop the carrying handle.

If he'd just make the M16A4 burst/semi-auto firing, everything would have worked out just fine. BF2 had the M16A2 fire burst and it was fine.
