They've had more than half their country taken, and the rest split in half and filled with settlements.
When the Israelis talk of compromise the only one they have in mind is for the Palestinians to leave Palestine entirely and sign it over to them.

Okay so western europe decided that because theyd been doing it for thousands of years but now it will be illegal. Doesn't really change the situation though. Say your alternative reality was true, the Israelis start a war themselves this time and systematically kill all of the Palestinians and declare all of their land as Israel. The UN come in and prosecute the leadership for war crimes but what happens next?

The UN is just about to concede defeat on Libya..its not going to get involved with a likely Nuclear armed Israel.

They could take Israel no problem? Yeah perhaps if people fought wars like on Bf2. However the Eurozone could not beat Israel under a UN mandate as nobody is prepared to see the necessary level of casualties. Israel's range doesnt matter they dont need to bomb the rest of the world into submission just to maintain power within their own borders.
