What Kim said. Shifty, don't be a tool. If someone likes it, don't go out of your way to call it shit. Accept what someone likes and leave it at that. My girlfriend doesn't like the music I listen to and I don't like one of the TV shows she watches. We don't go out of each other's way to make the other feel miserable, though.

If you get into a discussion about the movies, give your opinion in a mature way but don't be a tool. I'm not a fan of the movies but my girlfriend's best friend loves them. She knows I don't like them and we just don't talk about it, which means she doesn't get insulted by my opinion and the option of a threesome is always on the table.

That being said, I pulled an asshole move a bit ago... a girl (I'm hoping) posted on a local forum that she was selling a wet suit that she got too fat for (her words, not mine) and posted a laughing smiley face. Apologized while I did it, but just expressed my amusement. What a shit storm that caused. Got some angry messages from her that ended with me saying the following, "You have two options, get a sense of humor or get a treadmill."
