Yeah I am familiar with his work. I knew what I was getting in to when I went to see it. I had very low expectations but somehow I was still disappointed

They're good to play on the home theater.. but they (his movies in general) bore me quickly.

I laugh at the "critics" that talk how bad a Bay movie ( some of the critics haven't even seen T3 but yet they are criticizing the movie )

a Bay movie is what it is ... the guy doesn't change his formula, you get a good popcorn summer flick that makes alot of cash and looks good on screen.
The only films I can think of that had a good plot was " The Rock " & " Bad Boys I & II " and the first 2 was back during the Mike & Jerry combo days

But it doesn't look good on screen. Bay might put in allot of CGI but he is terrible at cinematography, you cannot tell what the fuck is going on because of how terrible he is at positioning shots. All the crap is either too close or too far away. You also have the problem with the fact that his movies are at least 150 minutes long, when the most you can realistically expect to watch a movie where the CGI is the only thing it has going is 90 minutes. If he wasn't so bad with his camera work and didn't drag his films on so much, people would not hate his movies so much. It's not that they are dumb summer movies, it's that they're bad dumb summer movies.

Also Shia LaBouf is a fucking pussy faggot.

My kids were in it for the robots. My wife was in it for Josh. And I was in it for the exotic cars and military gears. And yes, my wife did think the chopped building scene was completely absurd. And my son asked why Decepticons never look around corners. But they still enjoyed it for some weekend time waster.

Megan Fox is meh. I preferred the new girl.

Bad Boys and The Rock are awesome movies... after that he lost the plot. (no pun intended). BB2 and T1 were ok, but poor in comparison. Everything else is pretty bad.

Also I laugh at the "fans" that give a terrible movie 10/10 because they knew it was going to be terrible before they went in.

Rating it 8/10 or 9/10 when compared to the previous Transformers movies or cliché action movies in general is fine. But rating Transformers 3 as 8/10 or 9/10 compared to every other movie ever made is simply ludicrous. I was rating the movie, not rating how close it came to my expectations.

Rating stuff without writing anything about it is stupid. If I were to rate Lawrence of Arabia, or Ghandi or something like that a 9/10 without leaving much text, most people wouldn't realize that they are long and dry movies with only small segments of excitement, which obviously isn't the movie for everyone.

Instead, you should talk a bit about what you thought of the movie, what kind of movie it was and exactly why you did or did not enjoy it.

The Fighter - 7/10

It was a good film, not too much to say about really. I thought the fight scenes could have been done a little better, and it lacked a decent score. Cinderella Man is still my fave boxing film, this comes in second. Glad Bale got his oscar for this, he is one of the top 5 actors out there, very diverse, and the way he pulls off these different accents perfectly is impressive.
