Today I put 1200 rounds of 45 ACP Winchester white box through the Kimber and HK. 650 of those went into the Kimber to break it in. I used magazines from Colt, Springfield, Ed Brown, and Kimber. Not one single malfunction. It shoots as good as it looks. HK was the same as usual, awesome.

DBBrinson1 had bad experiences with the Kimber as well, irdk, never shot a .45 of any manufacture... just .40s and .357 mag

I shot the Kimber today again. 250 rounds. Zero malfuntions. I've heard compact 1911s have a lot of problems. From a lot of manufactures.

Traded my P2000 for a P30S V3. Gonna pick it up tomorrow or Friday.

Get a Dan Wesson. My commander has been virtually flawless. (A couple failures to lock back in the 1st 50rds and 2-3 failures to feed in the past after that. I have a couple thousand rounds through it.)
