So you think the University of Idaho is comparable to Harvard in terms of education?
No, I don't (combined with the many transfers), but the use of uneducated hick is a bit harsh. Some of the stupidest things I've heard have come from the mouths of people who have hung very expensive pieces of paper of their walls. I can't say I would support a Palin 2012 run, as I think she'd make a better kingmaker than candidate. However, I'm just a voter; who wouldn't vote for her as POTUS.
It's interesting to read this thread and compile the reasons why those don't like her. Apparently she's 'retarded'.
Ty seemed to gather most of the reasons in his post a few pages back. Apparently it is a Christian thing... If she was a Jew, at this point Ty would be anti-Semite. I'm not sure how many of the bullet points he posted are true, (the few I looked at weren't) but it didn't matter as Palin had to spend her time defending herself instead of running. The media could have easily 'crucified' the bamster on any of his missteps and flubs thought the campaign trail, but for some odd soroseque reason, didn't. Funny as both candidates had them, regardless of caliber of education. 57 states from a Harvard grad? The media couldn't go after the war vet so they went after the VP candidate. Palin got way more of a spotlight then Biden, and I honestly think she'd a done an equal or better job than he's done in that position.
My point is that the media was pissed at Bush for shrugging them off. They proved that point in this last presidential election about how 'important' they deem themselves. I find the media even more pathetic now than ever as the current administration has literally gone across the street to hide meetings and has done/continues to employ shenanigans to shut them out. But the lap dog just rolls over. Imagine if Bush had done anything like that. I do admire Palin for how she's treating the press. She knows they will never like her regardless of what she does or says. So she's basically said 'fuck em'. So they keep on trying to hang her at every stop, inflating every misstep and twisting quoted sound bites. And Ty will continue to believe crap like the SNL skits sells 'I can see Russia from my house' and the media stories like the 'Africa is a continent' rumors about her; and so too will the majority of the people out there who are moderate and lean left. If I were Palin? Alaska is looking pretty good and I love Kodiak Island. I'd go be Mayor there.
