For me, Warlord is the map that helps me get repair points. I mean, there's always a bunch of goobers blowing up stuff either at the SAS uncap or in the Warlord's compound.

Getting 1,000 repair points for the Meritorious Service Medal is taking a while (heals and resupplies were easy), but Warlord is definitely helping me get there.

Agreed. Although, when friendly claymores can blow you up, it kinda stinks. :-)

Warlord rocks, because you HAVE to get out of your vehicle at some point in the round. There's just no way to be involved in the match 100% if you don't pound it in the palace or tv station at some point.

I picked up a new, fun angle on the map this past weekend. I like hopping into a pick-up truck and speeding around. I'd make all kind of sweeps - especially by places like Insurgent Hideout, etc. - where there was action. I could pick up a few kills running over guys, or I could hop on the gun and shoot 'em, too. Also, when I spawned as medic, I could heal teammates by driving near them. Also, they could jump in and get healed quickly, and I would take them like a taxi to wherever they wanted to go. Another fun thing is to spawn as engineer and support a tank. Hiding behind a tank and fixing it while it is engaged with another tank or APC gave my teammate an advantage.

I know this stuff isn't rocket science and it is old news, but I just really find Warlord a kick-ass map. Even more than my previous favorites - Sharqi and Karkand.

i like when a server has ff on for claymores. then you wont have snipers running all over the palace. ive seen it time and time again. real good battles going on in palace, our team is owning and about to cap other flag. then 6 people on their team change to snipers and claymores all over the place. good thing SF has grappling hooks and ziplines otherwise the palace would be impossible to take over. almost like the tv station if you have snipers just laying claymores all over the place.

The Palace with claymore FF off does have advantages.. got my expert explosive by defending the 3rd floor flag as Insurgent with claymores, had my mate treerat playing as support supplying me with ammo so I always had a
fresh claymore ready whenever one got popped. It helped that he was spamming the 3rd floor with CS gas so noone could see my claymores

What a great laugh that round was.. can't remember the server but it was a full size map with a player limit of 20. It was the early hours of the morning and a few players from our team signed off when the round was quiet and we ended up with just me and Treerat against SIX players on the other team! I was expecting more people to leave and the server to end the game but a few more joined and basically ended up with 8 vs. 8 with the entire Insurgent team in the one squad. Great fun, ended up with 50+ claymore kills and a nice shiny gold badge \o/

Just got my Meritorious Service Medal on Warlord, it is a great map for the repairs. i got 48 repairs in a round because i got lucky and a few spec op guys were dead set on blowing up our assets. Warlord is also where i got my expert explosives.

Warlord got me my Vet Repair, Vet Explosives and all my Vet SF combat badges. It's also helping me rack up pistol kills for the Expert Pistol badge reqs.

Hell, I'd have had Expert Repair with time to spare had I met the reqs for it. There's almost always an Insurgent with a huge vendetta for SAS commander assets. Plus, it's usually safer repairing stuff as SAS at an uncap than trying to repair and avoid the carnage at the Palace.

The Palace is sweet but it keeps teasing me with Expert Exlosives. Like last night where I got 34 clay kills. I think I've got my strategy lined up for tonight's attempt. Mostly things to help rack up kills when there's a Palace battle lull... which always seems to happen to me just a few minutes too long! We'll see how it goes

it helped me get my vet explosive badge, ive yet to get my expert, because getting 27 kills via explosives seems a bit tough, but i havnt really tried. I need to get 18 kills in a round to get my exp. pistol, havnt really tried at that either.....maybe ill try it tonight.

I got my expert explosives on warlord. Just packed an atv with c4 and drove around till i saw armor or a group of guys. Pretty easy. Just make sure its ok on the server to do that sort of thing and you'll have it in no-time.

I got 36 kills with claymores on Warlord once. Made me mad that I came so close to getting that expert badge. I got my expert command badge on Warlord. The best round for repairs I've had is 17 on Warlord, but I was tank whoring and killing at the same time. I'm trying to get 25 repairs points and 44 kills in the same round their for all my engineer expert badges.

Good luck with the repair points. Its luck if you can get a dumbass nub to keep destroying your commander assets. Its easier IMO to get them being the Insurgents. Your assets are closer together and they can be destroyed alot faster since the palace flags can be capped. Just gotta make sure you hide well is all.

when im not tank whoring i like to play SF kit, from TV station you can zipline to almost anywhere, as insurgent from tv station you can get to usmc commander assets faster than with a bike !!

Lame.. any sewrevr which ahs mine FF off is lame and should be shut down... FF should be on for everything at all times.

I never could figure out why Karkand was so pop, Worlord is way better!

On WarLord, there seems to be a place for everyone’s style of game play! If you want Close Quarters Combat (CQC), you have the palace. If you want tank on tank (ToT), you can have that too! If you want to snipe, wrench, Spe-Ops, play defense or offence it has it all!

Well, Warlord was kind enough to give me 38 clay kills a few weeks back, giving me my Expert Explosives badge

Haven't played Warlor in a bit since I'm finishing up hours for the Golden Crescent. I'm closing in on enough hours to try for Expert Sniper so I'll probably try for it on Warlord.

After that, back to a general rotation for me
