Interesting. So no assault class per se.

Are the LMG's going to work like they did in BC2 or BF2?
Thank goodness they're getting rid of the lmg+medpack double, that was just absurd.
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

"hold on let me set this smoldering LMG down and wash my hands, I'll get the wound stitched"
Even as a person who mostly plays on consoles, I couldn't help but laugh at the guy who came on at around 3:30.Vilham wrote:

haha just got to that.
If you want massive maps, you need a way to transverse them.Jebus wrote:

Also the LMGs work like in BF2, except now you can deploy them for extra accuracy.
They put 2142 expanding deviation when you go prone. God dammit.Vilham wrote:

heh, this game could be the whole franchise, wrapped up in $60 bundle..:ronin:.|Patton wrote:

The last few pages of this thread are hilarious. That video is too vilham.

It's pretty obvious that BC2 is a console port, but perhaps a few "features" of that game will creep into BF3.
As long as the character movement is improved significantly, I'll be pretty happy.
This shows how awesome the character animation is.
I just hope they take away a bit from the laser accuracy the guns have in BC2.

I agree, it should be like in BF2 where the key to winning all and every firefight was to hit "z" as fast as possible. That's totally good gameplay right there!.:ronin:.|Patton wrote:

It actually seems like the zero-deviation from BC2 is going to be out. If you look really closely at where the bullets hit in the SP trailer, you'll see it. Also it wouldn't make any sense to use the bipod on the LMGs if they were perfectly accurate from iron-sights alone.Sisco wrote:

I sure hope. I miss the chance of getting into cover as soon as I got shot at.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

well bf2 infantry movement was a whole lot faster than this game is going to be. The freedom of movement pre-welfare patches was such that going prone didn't always mean you got a kill. Except for noobulite sergeants with PKM+G36E automatic sniper rifles going prone first thing was the only thing that pissed me off.Doctor Strangelove wrote:

I dont want to bitch too much, its only in its beta stage and half a year from release. I wanna see some air combat now, i hope helicopters aren't fucktarded like bad company's.
To be honest..:ronin:.|Patton wrote:

As far I can see, and from what I've read, Metro is objective based. Whether that's normally or including Rush modes, I dunno. But you start fighting in the park, take out or capture some anti-air defence, then a missile strike blows open the entrance to the tunnels, and then it seems you go from there into the city.
Merely speculating of course.

Oh God, why bother with the scope if the iron sights are just gonna be in the way. Just fucking remove the scopes if you are gonna have fucking ironsights in the way you fucking retarded game devs.
Anyway, I like the option of choosing between grenade launcher or medic instead of being able to do both like in 2142.
Still dislike sniper getting demopacks/c4, seriously dice? Just give the engineer fucking c4 as you rightfully should, maybe have it as a choice between landmines or c4.Doctor Strangelove wrote:
Seems to use 2142's class system. That was the best one, glad they used it.

Game looks awesome, just a bit disappointed that the tank rounds did not drop (or at least not significantly) over distance.

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
I love the suppression effects from the LMGs. They took that one straight from project reality.

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
Dice hired some of the devs from the PR team, so that probably is where they got it from.Pure_Beef_68 wrote:
