Tank shots seems easy mode though. Very little drop. It took skills to tank long shot moving tanks while you yourself were moving on BC2. I'm pretty good at that tbh. But on BF3, there is very little tank shell drop.

BC2 and BF3 share the same engine.
It's a console engine
No matter how hard they try to tell you it's a PC game it's not going to be a PC game.

frostbite2 =/= frostbite1
Fixed, might as well call the game by its real name now.. rite dice?DUnlimited wrote:

just like quake1 =/= quake2 =/= quake3?menzo wrote:

or cod2 =/= cod4 =/= mw2 =/= blackops?
i think you get the point. the engine might have a different number at the end but it's essentially the same engine upgraded graphically.

Go play BF2 and don't buy BF3.
Fuck off.
Fuck off.
well said ebug.
console port blah blah hello bc3 blah blah some people on here will never be happy with it no matter what they do and will have their head to firmly up bf2's ass to enjoy it. it looks good to me and I will have a blast playing it im sure.
well i guess i'm the only one here that actually wants a game to be challenging and likes spending time to learn all the aspects of it to eventually get good at it.
but yeah mouse1'ing carl gustavs works just as fine right

you're still going to buy it.
If you want lots of people to buy your game, you dont make it hard.DUnlimited wrote:

A learning curve scares off all the casual FPSers
who on bf2s isnt?14/f/taiwan wrote:

There should be more to a game than just mastering/exploiting hit boxes.
exploiting hit boxes, lol?

thanks for telling me, haven't figured that out in the last 5 years already.Kampframmer wrote:

what annoys me the most is the way they market it as the second coming of christ when it's just going to be another flawed console game.

like for example learning how to shoot people that try to exploit their hitboxes. it's surprisingly easy you know.

I dont think bf3 will be a flawed console game. It'll definitely be a good PC FPS.DUnlimited wrote:

The thing is though that the whole industry has changed so much in all those years that you cant really compare the two that easily.
Yes, learning curves have become a lot less steep, but games arent as buggy as they used to be (retarded hitboxes etc.) and hopfully bf3 will set a new standard for pc fps' that will keep the CoD like games away from pc.
And no. It wont be bf2 with better graphics. get over it.
How do you expect them to market it?
EA: "Yeah this game is alright I guess. Sure it probably isn't great but chances are you'll buy it anyway. But yea there's this one thing about the game I don't like that much, it's designed for noobs (like you)."

Hence, I mentioning mastering.DUnlimited wrote:
