No, this is valid. If it's a light carpet, bleach is a good solution. Else, try a detergent and water and follow it up with Lysol (if it doesn't make you sneeze).AussieReaper wrote:

Like I said mold can become airborne. The spores are invisible. They sell do-it-yourself mold kits at home improvement stores. Check under your sinks, in your attic, anywhere dark and possibly damp. Not joking, that shit spreads like wild-fire. They also sell a product called damp-rid which can help.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

At this point, I'd recommend one of the following:
1) Professional cleaning.
2) Replace your carpet with wood flooring.
Pretty sure you live in a boat.Jaekus wrote:

Shifty go to Von's and ask the cashier girl, that you have been stalking for who knows how long, questions about renting the store's carpet shampoo cleaner. If you get a good vibe from her, put away the chloroform, proceed to ask her out while in the process of taking care of what needs to be done. /Let's start winning

Yeah.... I don't think "I let mold go in my carpet for so long that it grew mushrooms. Whats the best cleaner for that? " is a great opener.
