I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

99.9% sure... but I have to make sure my Dad doesn't fuck me over. Either way it's my intended destination.13rin wrote:

Congrats! Be safe... Then again, you're a NY'ker so you've gotta have some 'street smarts' installed by now.Poseidon wrote:

especially with his upbringing on the mean streets of long island
Watched a few of their games last season, and decided I needed a college team to follow in the event of a lockout (I ordered it well over a month ago) I just felt like buying the shirt.Poseidon wrote:

You watch NFL?ghettoperson wrote:

Yeah.
I grew up in two of the highest income towns on Long Island. Though when I lived in Stony Brook from 8th-end of 12th grade, I lived in a 3 bedroom ranch. I wouldn't exactly put myself off a "street smart" but I also know how not to be an idiot when I go out.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

lol I know what you mean. I'm not super street smart but I know how to greatly reduce my risk of getting mugged.
growing up without fear of being mugged/stabbed/shot in a drive-by yet still being able to get by in a city =

Why the Saints? I don't have anything against them or anything. I'm just curious why you chose them.
They played over in London against the Chargers and I liked the way they played football. That was one of the first NFL games I watched in full.
oh definitely... as you said... if you can see it so noticeably (considering it's just a keyboard rate, after all, to even see a visual difference is pretty startling)... then the feel must be something else. extremely tactile and responsive.Lucien wrote:
I'd like to know if you can actually feel the difference ingame. if you can see it in a video, you probably can.Uzique wrote:

gonna make me some kimbab.
popped into waterstones today and i always love to get a few books when i go into a good bookstore... something more personal and pleasurable in the buying experience. whilst at university buying 100's of books a year the 'experience' of receiving a new book becomes quite banal: quick and easy amazon.com searches and next-day deliveries coming through your letterbox at regular intervals removes something of the 'pleasure' of finding a book on a shelf by a stroke of luck and engaging with it that way. anyway... enough fetishism. i picked up some really nice editions of:
infinite jest - david foster wallace
gravity's rainbow - thomas pynchon
the sorrows of young werther - johann wolfgang von goethe
about love and other stories - anton chekhov

Ordered the new one and it hasn't arrived yet, so no didn't use that as a monitor yet, don't think I will either and using my old TV isn't much of an upgrade since my regular monitor is 22"
