i defy anyone to be interested in 'supply chain management'. is that a glamorous course-title for mcdonalds supervisor?
its actually an okay subject, very operational driven as you prob could imagine.  But think bigger its principally the reason why Walmart and Tesco are where they are today, their ability to restock based on understanding demand to the n degree/real time as opposed to just having the cheapest prices.

it's one of my MBA electives too.

You're going to do well in your advanced studies, you've got this whole criticism thing down pat. Create nothing. Destroy other peoples work. Sounds like a winsome way to wile away ones days on this planet.

right, and an mba that is basically an achievement of personal profit chasing business is definitely contributing, right?

and who says i'm only a critic?

i love how your implication that a 'winsome way to wile away one's days' is basically to get as qualified and educated as possible to earn money

capitalism: the meaning of life. solved. next big question!

and i don't exactly know why that got up your nose... business courses are hardly intellectual sophistry.

No zique, my point was that it's his life and you pissing all over his life choices because you wouldn't make the same ones is absurd. You grew up rich and don't care about money, we get it. You've undoubtedly got a nice fat trust fund to carry you through grad school and into a professorship. That's cool. Not everyone has the same opportunity in life. For some of us, having a comfortable salary and life means perhaps sacrificing what we'd most want to do for something that will allow us to raise a family without the stress of not having enough income.

You shit on two people because they didn't take the eng lit/critic/college professor route in life that you did. It's amazing that you can then burst into tears in other threads when people call you a professional reader. Get over yourself you ugly fuck.

my life choices are incurring entirely my own debts, so i don't know what you're on about. and i'm not pissing on anyone's decisions, i'm just saying i don't think (personally, my opinion, don't go jump off a roof about it) that it's a fulfilling use of one's intellect. is that a comfy-cozy thing? no, i don't think so. anyone can have the view that we're put on this planet for more than learning about JIT and market theories.

and ugly fuck? lol. where did that come from, heyyy-hoooo!

Right, but some people actually enjoy that stuff. I nerd out on math, economics and history. Other people would rather jump off a bridge than be forced to study any of the three. Everyone is different and has different tastes. Telling someone their path in life is stupid is counterproductive. They won't thank you for it, even if what you have to say is truth.
