I guys.

A quick quick reply would be appreciated. Very limited time frame for offer!!!!!!

I have a chance to upgrade to a MSI NX7800gs 256mb cheap!

Would I be able to play BF2 on high with the card? Anyone know????

I currently run:

P4 Titan GA-*IPE775 Series Motherboard with AGP 8x support
P4 3.2 512k cache
2 gig Ram
XFX 6600GT

Would it be a major improvement?

Looking for high on 1280x resolution??????

Thanks
Andoura

I don't trust them. The guy says the 7800gs is a great card. The guy I bought the 6600gt off says great card should run all on medium and I have to have the lighting/shadows and something else on low. .

Just wondering whether the 7800gs is a good card until I upgrade next year with a new amd or intel chip. I only play BF2 (addicted!) so anything that improves BF2 would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 6800GS that runs nearly everything on high in 1280x1040 (2 settings on medium) ETA:: No AA

I tweaked the hell out of BF2 though(killing the intro scenes and what not).

I think a 7800GS should do more than my 6800GS.

Thanks for the advice. Its $400 AUS. I think it would be better to wait 6mths and buy a 7900gt or gtx with a system upgrade. For an extra $1000 I should be able to cannabalise and upgrade my m/b, cpu and ram.
