I think the Afghan population is too diverse to comment on their collective happiness. People stay for their poppy crops, because they're scared to leave (whether it be fear of the Taliban or the unknown), to fight in the summer for Taliban money or for any number of other reasons. It's a hard mindset to get into is the Afghan one, and other than living their life I doubt we can.Acreta wrote:
