no its the game where the guns are so inaccurate that even if you have been crouching still for 30 minutes and fire a single shot at a guy at 100meters it misses.Lucien wrote:
is that the game where you sprint slower than a segway out of battery?
So Red River is even worse than Dragon Rising? gg
It's more refined - has sort of RPG elements. You complete missions and depending on how well you did you get 1-3 points to put on skills, such as sprint speed and duration, equipment switching times, spotting range, accuracy and stability. You also get 19 unlocks per class, including weapons, attachments, equipment and perks (Faster healing, accuracy, better usage with x, etc.). I've maxed out accuracy and all's well with my shooting, now, compared to the bare basic levels.
But there's no Mission Editor D:
That's the main reason I bought it... Fuckers.

The Game just feels outdated tbh.
(BETA)
That sure sounds like a shitty concept.FFLink wrote:

It sounds like they kept true to the dodgy concept of DR, making a game that sits inbetween chairs. Too gimicky and arcady to be a simulator (unlocking gear through points) and too realistic to be a fun-shooter. Sad, really.NooBesT wrote:

Well it's good fun with a few friends, so unless you try it, you won't know.
what game is that?
From the pixelation in the center, I'd say Minecraft. :p
Hell no, I went with that approach on DR and even with friends it was pure horse shit, unless you´re shifty-gogo-marines-pewpew. Not gonna spend another 40 bucks.FFLink wrote:

Hadn't played BC2 in a while, after a couple of games I got this:
feels good man
feels good man
fucking shamblers
It is more refined and less buggy than DR, but there's a lot less content. I'm no 'gogo-marine' and none of my friends are, but it's still enjoyable.Sisco wrote:

I'm just still beyond pissed that there's no editor. That was literally 90% of the point of me buying the game. As long as they don't charge for DLC, though, I'll be happy with the purchase, I guess.
Aw, come on. They're big meaty softies that turn into a dozen sides of beef in no time at all.

I actually didn't type that in my post, but I agree 100%. Map designers stuffed them into monster closets and dark alcoves. It wasn't hard to kill them when you knew you were being attacked, but one or two hits could pretty much do you in.
what is?
Go play Quake 1, but with the CD, not the lame musicless Steam one.
e: on another note, here's an AWESOME Doom 3 mod
Fiends aren't programmed correctly, but it's pretty good.
