That's sort of the point, it's not 'impressive' as such it's just for one of the more basic cars we have over here it's interior is (I imagine) much better than anything on a comparable American car.Jay wrote:

I give you the most average of average cars Europe has to offer, the Vauxhall Astra
Apart from the leather and the TV screen even the most basic models have that interior (my piddly 1.6l rental did anyway ).
That's not what I got out of it at all.Camm wrote:
so essentially they've dumbed it down for american retards, made it bigger to accommodate their enormous size, and made it easier to drive cause you're all lazy as fuck?

it would be interesting to see an orange DBS

That is probably THE most average car we have over here it's not awful and it's nothing special, I'm waiting to see some American interiors in the same price bracket (£12-14k) to pop up.
Probably cause you're in that demograph.Jay wrote:

Is a Scotsman really trying to make fun of me? Where's your kilt laddy or did it burn up when you lit your face on fire? Fuck off.Camm wrote:

Wow I didn't realise you were that easy to bait. I should do this more often.Jay wrote:

Not an American car. I would put up Lexus interiors versus the BMW and Land Rover examples, but they's ain't American.Jay wrote:

Well, I posted the pics in the context of American interiors somehow being dumbed down vs Euro interiors.Ilocano wrote:

I'm saddened though about the direction Honda is going though. Starting to use cheaper quality plastic and trim, following what Toyota has been doing in the last few years.
Not saying our interiors are replaced with crap when they're sold over there, just saying that interiors on American made cars are generally poorer than European and in this case Japanese interiors.Jay wrote:

Right, but I've heard people state here that BMW and other manufacturers install different interiors into cars they make for the American market.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I cant see that being true (other than swapping the side the driver sits on maybe). Personally I'd never considered the possibility of a car being totally redesigned for another country, just seems like a massive waste of time and money.Jay wrote:
