I cant seem to put my graphics to the right blance of my comp. limits, either i have it way to high or low. Ill + karma u if u find the perfect settings for me.. + karama u for as long as i can remeber u ^_^

6600 GeForce
512 MB RAM
4 CPU
3.00GHz

Its amazing how cumputers get outdated quickly these days

more ram.. set everything on low and then wait for more money, buy better GFX card and then you can run on medium, i recomend NEVER running on high becuase of the pressure applied.

As your system is, everything but view distance should be on low. It'll be a sad day if that rig can't even handle max view. </= 1024x768 should be fine, and turn down sound detail if you haven't already.

lower settings & or lower resolution, closing all extra programs, check for spyware & any virus.

Your computer is fine except for the ram, maybe play on smaller sized maps as well.

but what i dont get, i can run FEAR at maximum grapchis but BF2 on lowest.. FEAR looks alot more realistic.. ahh well.

Whoever sold it to you would've been lying if they told you it was all new stuff a year ago. Now, a year-and-a-half...

My computer, bought in late 2004, is still a valid gaming rig. The ASUS A8V motherboard, 1GB Corsair TWINX 2-2-2-5's, a BFG 6800 Ultra AGP and a 74GB Raptor still run everything satisfactorily (even Oblivion), though I fear for Unreal Tournament 2007.

I wish you could write off gaming rigs in taxes, since they allow society to blow off its anger within the privacy of their own homes.

The best settings would be 1024x768 with everything mostly on low settings, especially terrain and models etc. Don't use AA.

As others have said, upping to a gig+ of ram (for less than a $100 mind you) it will give you a much needed speed increase. Oh, and for some reason I doubt that with that system you can run everything on max in FEAR and get a playable framerate.
