i recommend the heli ride also.. plus it takes forever to drive AROUND the canyon. c
It does indeed look awesome... not sure if I'm prepared to shell out $300 for a heli ride though. If money wasn't an issue though... I'd be going to NY too
How long are the flights? At those prices I'd probably save money by going on it, at the rate you seem to get through money in Vegas.Ilocano wrote:
I was there. Just before the checkpoint before going to Hoover Dam. Next to that one Hotel/Casino by Lake Mead. $30/$60 helicopter rides. You have to avoid the default tourist companies. Same as the Hoover Dam tour buses. Arm and a leg prices. Just get the tour tickets when you are actually at the Dam.
someone post contact info on the heli so he can book a good deal

Not long, but long enough to get the "feeling".
But yeah, Grand Canyon tours would be more expensive simply because of the duration. But personally speaking, seeing rocks by air gets old after 30 minutes.

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Looks like flights have gone up a little...
Looks like my brother's mate can get us flights for cheap

So we got confirmation of the chapel being booked and accom at either the Luxor or Mandalay. Just gotta get my brother to organise these cheap flights with his mate and started locking it all in!!
i'd pick mandalayyyyy
I'll look at the pricing of both... also depends on where the happy couple decide to stay, would like to be in the same hotel with them.
