I hope hk will come out with the hk45 with colored frames like they did with the usp and mk23.
I would buy ten of them with those coyote tan frames.

I've got a buddy who's a 15W and he gets to fly all those, even the big predators. He gets to fly missions this week with apaches... I'm jealous.1stSFOD-Delta wrote:

Did you guys know with each M4 the army buys it only costs them $500?
you may get a better frame-slide fit if you move up to Springfield Loaded model. The fit on mine isn't as tight as the high end customs but it's better than some of the GI models I've handled. But that's only if you don't mind front serrations. Mine has run through a couple thousand rounds now without a single hiccup I can recall. I figure someday I'll upgrade the guts and replace the MiM but I don't really care at this point.1stSFOD-Delta wrote:
anybody here heard of ed brown? http://edbrown.com/cgi/htmlos.cgi/parts.htm
i'm thinking about buying a springfield gi model and completely reworking it with ed brown parts. i've always wanted to build a custom 1911 instead of paying $3000 for an actual brown/wilson/baer etc
basically turn this

into this

Is there any point unless you're going to do a proper accurising job?1stSFOD-Delta wrote:

I don't understand why anybody who does not work in the military/security would have a gun.
Can somebody please explain this to me?
