As a bartender, I would laugh at you if you came up with a photocopy of your license as proof of ID. It would make a great story to tell for a few days... But that is here, where the liquor license pays my bills. Maybe you'll have better luck in Vega$. Doubt it.Cybargs wrote:

Also, I'm now thinking of extending the trip to three weeks. Only reason why it was going to be two was for a gig back home on the 27th, but I think I'll say I can't do it. Spending an extra grand for an extra week is a lot cheaper than trying to come back and do it some more.

Uhhhh I think that's kind of obvious, isn't it? If you're only buying one drink you don't need the bartender again, and if there's no one at the bar then they're not going to ignore you because you tipped the standard amount.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

I was there 2 months ago. I was at XS, Surrender and Marquee. None of them had a busy bar when I was there. Not busy enough to tip a bartender $10 to remember my name anyway. Whatever, to each their own. Also, I wouldn't recommend Surrender. XS and Marquee are pretty solid though. Especially XS. Full of beautiful people.ghettoperson wrote:
