Yea kind of silly to call it a North American Service Ribbon when North America isn't even completely shown on the ribbon. What you see there is the United States of America within the North American Continent. Hence why Hawaii is excluded as it's an island and not part of the North American Continent.

For those confused by this... go back to grade school because you don't deserve to graduate H.S. but that's just my bitterness towards the failing US education system talking.
