She's trawling ebay/websites for SLR types, anything you'd recommend? She's worried about not having enough compatible lenses etc..burnzz wrote:
Canon Powershot. it's a point & shoot, yet has an optical zoom and small enough to fit in a purse.
tyvm, fresh out of the camera, minus backed up the original, cropped and did tweak the exposure on the overcast pictures.
southern Utah has 5 national parks, all i have to do is show up, point the lense in the right direction, and then upload them. Mother Nature did the rest

Can you swap lenses out with the powershot?
your starting point should be 1/3 camera, 2/3 lenses, batteries, and lighting. both Canon and Nikon make good SLR's, with Sony getting into it in a big way.Adams_BJ wrote:

i'd recommend a Canon Rebel, hell i've owned almost every model. the 1000d is probably still available, and captures enough light to do well in most situations . . .
thanks burnzy <3

Burnzz, nice work on the recent HDRs. They have a great feel to them.

Heres one more from the thaw;
Thanks! The panorama was around 6 shots, sadly I do not (yet) have a wide angle lens.burnzz wrote:
