tyvm, fresh out of the camera, minus backed up the original, cropped and did tweak the exposure on the overcast pictures.

southern Utah has 5 national parks, all i have to do is show up, point the lense in the right direction, and then upload them. Mother Nature did the rest

your starting point should be 1/3 camera, 2/3 lenses, batteries, and lighting. both Canon and Nikon make good SLR's, with Sony getting into it in a big way.

i'd recommend a Canon Rebel, hell i've owned almost every model. the 1000d is probably still available, and captures enough light to do well in most situations . . .

Thanks! The panorama was around 6 shots, sadly I do not (yet) have a wide angle lens.

I live off the Hudson river; the Ice was quite thick but we had a quick thaw and a bit of water pooled on top of the ice. It was. . . kind of strong. My brother was not peeing, more of a pelvic thrust. . .
