Oh no, you made me remember the level with the invincible, mechanical golden child!unnamednewbie13 wrote:
'Thief II: The Metal Age' has better 'horror' value than any of these.
I had AvP1 for while and it was great wallcrawling fun, until I lost the disc and my hardrive got wiped. Too bad Iheard the new AvP sucks, I was actually looking forward to it for a while.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

It's hard to feel like a victim in a game that calls itself 'horror' when you have a giant compensating GUN that immediately turns everything you meet into lumps of intestinal gravy. Thus, the scariest 'gun' game I played was AvP2, when you weren't sure exactly what on your motion detector was an alien waiting to instagank you past your smart gun, what was a cloaked predator barely showing up on scanners, and what is just a dangling chain swinging about in the breeze.
That's because AvP3 is a flop. You cover too much of the same ground from uncreative directions in the single player campaigns, Alien navigation is messed up, high jump for predators is clumsy as fuck and marines can't duck. Nobody wanted to play that shit in multiplayer, so we saw a brief burst of AvP2 servers becoming suddenly repopulated.Kampframmer wrote:
i got the new AvP with my graphic card. Played the predator campaign halfway and finished the human campaign. Its not that much fun. MP is also deserted
AvP 1 is available on Steam. Give AvP 2 a shot, too.ROGUEDD wrote:

Inefficient assets optimization.Kampframmer wrote:
Yeah, it sucked so hard i even removed it from my pc because it was the largest game i had (dont really see why, because it not very impressive as a game).
Ah, I guess I have to get that for the price of €2.99, even if I already have it retail, because it has been integrated into Steam.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

True, the sequel is better in every aspect, especially in multiplayer with the Alien life cycle enabled usable exosuit.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
