*shrug* Pretty much anything in a game can be abused. If the snipers are doing that, they're not helping out their team very much, and I'm going to know exactly where to go to knife them all in the foot.FloppY_ wrote:

If the unlocks take a while to receive, you have to PLAY THEM. So then the game is about PLAYING THEM.FloppY_ wrote:
Uzique... Games are about PLAYING THEM... The gameplay is what is supposed to be fun... not the fucking unlock treeUzique wrote:
where have i said the long ranking wasn't "fun"? i just argued exactly why it IS fun to have to play a long time to unlock everything.FloppY_ wrote:
Oh sorry I thought we played games for fun...
Games shouldn't be stretched by a "you can't have this yet" policy.. they should be stretched by quality and good post-release support tbh...
i think it's the complete opposite of 'fun' to be given everything for zero-effort/skill; it's bland, boring and short-lived.

I'm glad you feel the same way as I do Uzique, I'm especially glad because you get the point across a lot better than I do.
You still get to work hard for your goal when unlocking. I honestly prefer to unlock weapons instead of never being able to unlock them, BF2142 came way too damn soon which forced me to take my bf2 time off in order to play this new bf game. You may as well make it quick so you can be ready for the next game.-Sh1fty- wrote:

Gameplay is fun, you work hard to achieve a goal and get rewarded for working hard a long time for it.
It's only a "Fucking unlock tree" if the game gives you unlocks every rank which comes every 1000XP.
You contradict yourself with an alarming rate.

hey guess what. 67 people want the game to be like bf2, not bc2.
that means you're all wrong and working hard towards and achievement is the right answer

Transparent?? Don't you mean camouflaged?-Sh1fty- wrote:
Well, the ghuilie suits in COD4 would work fine once the grass is drawn but it was ruined by those red name tags. The ghuilie suits in Joint Operation Typhoon Rising worked great at long range though, the person becomes nearly entirely transparent.
I sure hope he doesn't mean transparentJaekus wrote:

Most games don't render grass beyond x meters. In Typhoon Rising, the guillie is nearly the same color as the grass, so up until x meters you can hid pretty well. Beyond x meters, the grass doesn't render anymore so you see a nice big green lump in the ground with a rifle sticking out despite the player being in tall grass.Jaekus wrote:
