It's "more free cars for me"
Or any of the social aspects that distinguish this game from other racers.Stingray24 wrote:

It's just a big lagfest of horrible hit-detection and rubberbanding or ghost cars driving vs eachother...
Not to mention this kind of game is focused on the "hurr rich guy simulator" and not really the racing...
And yes I can has veyron, not that I care though...
And no the multiplayer stuff is nothing special in this compared to other racing games..

Quite like racing other online actually. Nice thing about TDU is you can just cruise around and do what you want in free roam or attempt the singleplayer challenges. Gameplay was silky smooth in the beta and I'm sure they've tweaked it from there. My cousin and I raced one another in TDU1 without rubberbanding or any such issue. Anticipating lots of good times putting high end cars through their paces.

DLC tbh ... same with no modern Vettes pffff
I read atari had to pick either Ferrari or lambo. They chose Ferrari so no lambo period.
Oh btw, for those who were going to get this on xbox (like me), no Ferrari 458 for you. You get a faggot ass spyker instead. Oh joy

Ferrari and Lambo are not easy for game makers to get licenses for..1stSFOD-Delta wrote:

Especially if a game has visible damage systems...
You'd think the car manurfacturers would love the free advertising, but nooooo

Steam says ...
"All pre-order vehicles must be unlocked through the normal game progression to preserve game balance. Players must earn enough money to buy this car through in-game races and challenges."
What's the point then. Pre-order is fail

I think the pre-order cars are exclusive.Stingray24 wrote:

I'm reading that as pre-order cars are not GIVEN to you from the beginning, but unlocked at the shop if you preorder the game...Stingray24 wrote:

yeah thats the whole point of them. same as on the xbox with the original, you could download extra cars, but you still had to purchase them. just gives you access to more cars. plus you get to save a tenner if you pre-order anyway so i'm not complaining lolFloppY_ wrote:

If I were to pre-order I'd do it from a retailer here in DK where they usually set a price 20% lower than steam & other retailers...Shadow893 wrote:

ahh because it was 10 pound off on steam here. and i don't mind paying a small premium to have it on steam either. tbh me paying 25 quid for a game on the pc vs 40 if i wanted it on a console is worth it to me. haven't bought a game on dvd for at least two years now i think.FloppY_ wrote:
