The way i figure it, buying the game in the alpha for cheap was better than wasting time finding a cracked version every update.

Ghasts are WAY bigger than I expected
Looked but didn't see ANY squid for half of today, then suddenly, on my way back from sailing...
I was sailing around, then I looked to my left and saw this
The game crashed as soon as I had to run through them all and a creeper in the middle of them turned on a skeleton!

Couldn't you pick up creep spawners once?
Been looking for a Desert Biome to get cactus for so long today, look how close I got to finding it

erm, is tazz's server down? Ever since he said he gave me access, it is tells me "Internal exception: java.io.IOException: Bad Packet id 37"

Pretty much, the server is running on the version before the client update. So i fyou try and connect, it'll fail.
You can use a patch to connect to the server..
...however, I am slowly investing some time into bukkit. However it is very hard as they are really pushing towards a public release. And tbh, i should prolly just wait.

Well. Hey0 has officially closed.
Bukkit is really having a move on, In the past 24 hours, we've seen their dev build go from #18 to now #50.
I've compiled #50, and have setup the server in a unique manner as a temp measure until bukkit has been officially released.
Outlined below are some of the measures I have had to do:
There are no groups! Bukkit at the moment currently does not support groups.. Admins/VIP/whatever are all the same in a bukkit server. Everyone can use any command. There is no limitations to whom can use what. This also means WorldGuard cannot yet be created. - That means griefing..
So, Luckily enough, "Silence" has created a plugin "whitelist"
This means no one can connect to the server besides those I have specified directly into the whitelist.
Current Whitelist:
Tazz
Promythyus
Tacoma_Yakko
Boothinator
Jestar12345
Morpheus1229
AniVio
Bukkit, at it's core, is simply vanilla Minecraft, with the ability to add plugins. So, Unlike Hey0's Mod, where /item and /spawn /warp etc were already a part of the mod, We have added a plugin that Adds some of the functionality back into the game...
Commands:
/enable|disable|reload [plugin] - Allows you to enable, disable, reload plugins. (needs permission)
/afk (message) - Sets your status / afk
/playerlist|online - List players online
/who|info (player) - Check who is online, and information about them.
/spawn - Return to the spawn
/setspawn - Changes spawn to where you are standing (needs permission)
/time (night|day|raw time) - Change the time (needs permission)
/tp|teleport [player] - Teleport to a player. (Requires permission)
/s|tphere [player] - Teleport a player to you. (Requires permission)
/i|give [item id|name/nickname] [amount (item id)] (amount)
/help (page)
The final plugin installed is World Edit. HOORAY!
At this time we are not accepting ANY new people, as it is just too much of a security risk without the functionality of groups.

I'm working on my own music player... Starting from scratch...
The redstone "current" moves from the button, to the far end, then up a level and back... this should make me able to push the button and stand in the middle to hear it all even at 5 "stories" of music...
I think I will change it from a single, straight wall to beeing a platform surrounded by the "instruments" which then play either around you in a spiral from top to bottom, or back and forth from your left to your front then right then up a level, going back front then left etc,,,,

Anyone know where Notch lives? I want to kill him now for making Ghasts so idiotically overpowered and impossible to deal with...
