I thought this was like a troll post or a necro or something..
Didn't realise they never released a demo for this game lol
The singleplayer's not great tbh, get a guest pass and try the multiplayer

For me singleplayer was the most enjoyable... Mostly because I fucking suck at multiplayerAries_37 wrote:

SC2 section is the new Crysis section.
bf2s still has a pretty active sc2 playing community... just there's generally not a lot to talk about, i guess.
trying to compare the lifespan/replayability/discussability of sc2 to crysis is pretty fucking dumb

Zerg rush. kekeke
/rinse repeat. You've now played SC2 multiplayer.

Much more complex than that at upper play levels, m8.
I've actually been watching some of the league tournaments on youtube, and 9 times out of 10 you'll see some early zerg harassment to "disrupt" the economy of the other player.
9 times out of 10, it fails horribly and is squashed by mechaterrans.
Early zerg rush is dead.
Scout, prepare, defend, win.
Zerg are shit early game, it's Terran that does the harass.

learn to have a clue what you're talking aboutAussieReaper wrote:

i don't even play sc2 online but there is a WHOLE lot more to it than that. it's the best-balanced competitive RTS out there.
stop talking shit about something just because you don't play / don't understand it
you talk about disrupting the economy / early harass as if it's a bad thing. it's a part of early-game strategy, simple as.

You don't even play it online.
i played the original online and its the exact same
think about the implication of your complaint... early game harass / scout / quick strats are poor show?
ok so every single RTS game should be a 15-minute tech race? spam top-tier units because the early game has just been both of the players turtling resources and building huge economy/army, with no cost or threat? right, ok
i mean you are well-versed in the finer points of all videogames...

well nowhere near what you are, considering you don't play mp.Uzique wrote:

i have played mp in sc1, and i have played sc2 mp... not on ladders, no, but i still understand the basic fucking concepts of the game
why even try? you're wrong, categorically. absolutely. shall i get someone that has played 500+ sc2 games to come say the same?
will that qualify the exact same point more properly for you?

Most people I've talked to either want SC2, or don't.
I've never heard "Hmmm I'm not sure, I'd have to try it out."
I've never heard "Hmmm I'm not sure, I'd have to try it out."
This, and there are plenty of ways to counter it, which is the reason some games stretch on as long as they do.Uzique wrote:

One of the reasons I got tired of the first was because of all the arbitrary no attack in 10 minutes rules applied to like 99% of the games.
Pffff, both places I download from and install ... then prompts for disc ... epic demo fail
I like turtles

I'm not sure if I want SC2, I'd have to try it out.
I think the mods are more fun than the actual game.
finray it takes altogether too much brains for you

I don't actually want it, I was just humoring defcon.
