bon iver's contribution is to just repeat a shitty vocoder song that he did for an EP over a year ago

does that constitute an appearance if you give... nothing new? and do you think it works?

i saw the live video of the performance at kanye's album launch, and bon iver looked ridiculously awkward and out-of-place on stage

to me it's just kanye's vulgar and obvious attempt to pander to the 'indie' crowd by including an artist they all swoon over

I was disappointed by that, but I figure that being on a kanye album means they're active, and they might sooner or later release a second album of their own. His singing was irrelevant, because you couldn't even hear it.

I totally agree. Bon Iver's appearance wasn't an appearance at all. Stupid song if you ask me.

Bon Iver made Monster what it is. Lost In The World was... okay. Nothing special.

My favorite tracks from the album still remain Dark Fantasy, Monster, Hell of a Life and of course Power. Everything else is kinda meh. I liked All Of The Lights to start but it's quickly faded. This album's faded pretty quick for me, but Graduation stuck with me for a while after first hearing it.

So Appalled is also awful imo.
