Jealous
So, they opened up Peak chair on Whistler the other day, so much powder.
Veiw to Black Tusk
Looking down into West bowl, that shit is steep. You have to get through about 20 feet of nasty, then its steep open freshies
The veiw to Piccolo, my friend and I hiked to that peak with the chair on it later in the day. That chair isnt open yet and only takes about a half an hour to walk to. Well worth it for the fresh lines.
The drop in to the hike:
Such a nice day. Lots of sweet views every where: On the walk to piccolo.
My buddy Kirko on the hike, its a steep one.
Looking at Black Tusk from the hike:
Kirko christens the run before the drop in.
And Kirko reaping the rewards of a short walk.
Still gotta get my pics from him.

Some of my buddies pis from the other day. I had to grab them off facebook.
Walking for the goods.
Conducting things well getting some mellow turns... actually talking to the wifey.
Layback turn below the clouds, timing for action pics isn't good on his phone.

Haha, yeah its light this time of year, most of the rocks should be fully buried after another 30cm dump or so. It gets heavier through February though.
Is it just me or does that pow look a little wet/heavy?
Its actually quite light. If I can get a video that my buddy took that day I'll post it so you can see.Adams_BJ wrote:

2:10 is a shot from that day, the rest is us playing around, nothing crazy, just playing with slow motion.Nic wrote:

Got back from Meribel yesterday.
Few pics...
Few pics...
it's hard, shooting in the snow. nice pics, looks like fun terrain . . .
Yeah it was a nightmare, I'll post a few of my shots in the photography thread in a bit
Crap pictures I know. From random league pictures taken by someones wife.
^I'm in silver #21 intercepting a pass in the end-zone. Photos from 2 seasons ago.
^Returning a kickoff. I'm #21.
^Playing defense.
I play in a 6v6 two hand touch(PUSH) football league. http://www.nausetfootballleague.com/?ca … league.com . It's a fun and competitive league that has been around 21 seasons now. This past season was my 15th. This season we(my new team) lost in the playoffs like the Pats. Earned a bye. Then we missed and extra point late in the 4th. 27-26. We dominated all day but turnovers killed us. My former team had won the SB twice in a row and 3 out of 4 years.
My first of my 4 SB wins.
waayyyyyy back
vvvvvvvvvvvvv
My rookie year= SuperBowl champ and league's leading scorer. Damn I was so fast when I was 23. And nothing hurt.

little something from a walk I took today, could have some footage of the riding in a few.
Where the walk started, upper right corner.
where the riding went:
over the backside, long hike out.

Look good
my week in japan had fantastic weather, but not as much pow as last year. wierd sorta trade off. We were happy for blue birds for virtually every day, but we wanted waist-chest deep stuff everyday like last year.
Still - better than AU

Here's a video of me getting knocked the f out. Hit a big snow covered block of ice that looked like a little mound and it knocked me off balance.
fun times fun times

I'd like to go there... japapowdertrees for sure. Some advice for your friend, if he points the camera down more, so that he always has more of the board in shot, you get a better idea of how steep it is. Seems when you angle the camera to high, everything looks flat.
Yeah we have a couple hundred hours of footage from 3 cameras, basically all one of the guys did was chuck some music on there and upload it. One of them had the camera in his hands, on his board, on a stock and every thing should be good to see his stuff.
This is probably the best powder video we had that I've seen so far. Like I said we got bluebird everyday and no real freshies. This side of the mountain rarely gets discovered.
In the first part of the video, off to his left is about a 15metre drop, and the part we are going down isnt much wider than a 2 car driveway. Its also pretty bumpy
