The whole area around the Eiffel Tower/Place du Trocadero/Les Invalides is very nice, clean and scenic. Walking distance to the previous plus the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees, which I could easily pass on (the latter).

Ooh yeah, Les Invalides is beautiful. You should also walk down the 'Axe Royal' for sure. Basically, it's a straight path from Le Louvre - Tuileries - Champs Elysées - Arc de Triomphe (place d'étoiles) and goes through to La Défence.

Yeah...first of all, I'll tell you Paris is a very dirty city. If you can get beyond that, great.

I'd defo recommend Montmartre again. There's a very nice little café just on the left about 50m from the top of the funicular, not sure what' it's called. Go there for lunch, and order a croque-monsieur.

In the evening, there's a cool club near the pont-neuf, I believe, called the Batofar. It's actually on a boat, which is probably something that most people haven't experienced. Great fun.

Obviously, shopping at the Galeries Lafayette on the Boulevard Haussmann, visit the Marais for epic architecture and neat little museums/cafés.

Centre Pompidou is pretty cool, and obviously the Musée d'Orsay for the nicest art. The Louvre is nice and all, but I find it's grossly overrated.

If you're into that sort of thing, the Invalides and the War Museum are very nice, architecture is beautiful and the exhibits are amazing. Same with the sewers--not exactly the most famous attraction, but very cool and they don't smell any different than outside.

Else, remember that they'll give you Perrier whenever you ask for water (and charge you), butter croissants are pure orgasm, and that the second- and third-cheapest wines on the list are usually quite good.

Stay away from the 19th and 20th arrondissements, and go to the 16th/Bois de Boulogne for a nice walk.

If you want any specific reaturants/attarctions, PM me. My apartment is in the 16th, but I know a lot of the city.
