I found a Nuka Cola Victory. I dunno what to do with it. It seems pretty powerful in a tight spot but I don't want to waste it.

This game is so much better than FO3. I cant decide on anything specific, just that it is.

I had a giant radscorpion and deathclaw attack me earlier, and about halfway between me and where they started the deathclaw realised the scorpion was there and just one shot it. It was hilarious. Deathclaws are awesome. Cazadors no so much, fuck cazadors especially that cave with the legendary one.
I'm about to go get eggs from that cave

Yeah deathclaws are lulz when other enemies are around

There are certainly more improvements than issues with this over Fallout 3, however I feel that they've made it unnessesarily complicated at some places...

And it's quite abit smaller than fallout 3, though much more densely packed

And you really can't go off the "linear" path before around the time you reach the strip

There is twice as many quests in this game and I was level 20 when I discovered the north gate to the strip.

edit: reading that again I think you were talking about geographical size.  You could be right about that, but I would assume more of FO3's area is inaccessible from memory, having to go through all the underground subways etc? Maybe not there are a lot of invisible walls in NV as well.

Feels even worse if you let him live when you go to the OSI office in McCarran and the lead scientist is like "yeah... sure you did" when you tell him you fixed it and not Mr. Fagtastic

I found myself in the Hidden Valley and I was getting pretty fed up of finding all these cool places on the map with absolutely nothing inside when
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Oh my God the Brotherhood of Steel are attacking me, quick run into the nearest bunker. Oh my god its a massive underground Brotherhood of Steel base.

I found myself being much less concerned with my karmic standing in this game. I feel more like a survivor in an unforiving world doing what it takes to survive.  Murder, theft, doublecrossing....

I think the Boomers are from a vault.  Ya know how each vault was technically an experiment?  Most of the Boomers have the number 35 on the back of their shirts.

They are, they even tell you if you bother to take their story lesson

The boomers are from Vault 34

FalloutWikia wrote:

As part of the Vault Experiment, the armory was overstocked with weapons, and ammo and not provided with a lock (but is still some how locked upon entering the vault (An overseers log states that he locked the Armory after the riots). The location of this Vault is in the Mojave Wasteland. By 2281, it still has people living in it[1], although they have become similar to Feral ghouls. They are, however, still able to speak with some level of intelligence. While in combat they may shout words like 'pain', etc.

According to the Boomers historian Pete they used to occupy the Vault 34, but they got sick of not being allowed to use their weapons so they left and started a community at Nellis.

ditto, lol

btw, if you want to side with NCR, stop doing quests for House when he tells you to fix the issue at Gamoura (or how it's spelled)

The game neglects to tell you that factions have ears everywhere and will not trust you if you work for house, meaning all Legion and NCR quests will auto-fail if you complete the Gamoura quest for house !

The game told me that just fine.

One thing that should be said however is that

Spoiler (highlight to read):
If you side with House or Caesar, you gotta destroy the BoS. If you go with Yes Man then you can keep them, and you need McNamara still in charge if you want to not have to kill them with the NCR.

You can't have both Yes Man and NCR. Yes Man is if you want to take over the Strip yourself, taking House's place.

You just go into the L38 Penthouse, tell him to fuck himself when he asks for the Platinum Chip and then there is a computer on a wall that opens the door to his secret lair.
