1.Ohio State "Pryor threw for 334 yards a career-best"
2. Oregon "High powered offense destroyed #9 Standford last week 52-31"
3. Boise State "Weak schedule might not even give this team the 3 spot"
4. TCU "semi decent schedule 2 top 25 teams left on there schedule"
5.Nebraska " Weak schedule but they have Texas who is hungry and outside of the top 25"
6.Oklahoma "5-0 just beat Texas 28-20"
7.Auburn "Beat Kentucky by 3 and had good clock management to take the W away form the cats"
8. LSU "Tough to move them up only one spot since the beat Florida at the swamp"
9. UTAH "Already has a W against a top 25 opponent and has 2 top 25 teams left"
10. Alabama "May very well drop out of the top 10 first loss in 37 games."  "I have no idea where to putt them honestly

Boise State should not be contending for a national championship title.  Their schedule is weak, and they still haven't played a solid opponent.  If they go undefeated, then they should still be not playing a national championship bid.  No offense, but find solid opponents that are in the Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, or another solid conference.  Seriously, man the fuck up.

National Championship, where 2/3's of the nation's schools are excluded? i am not saying the SEC and the Big Whatever don't have quality schools, and i'm not saying the Western Athletic is a powerhouse, what i will say is the BCS has hijacked college football for the benefit of the very few.

Seriously, man the fuck up and take the name "National" out of it and simply call it "BCS Champion".

because it's not 'National' when 2/3's of the schools aren't eligible.

i'm a U of Utah fan. in 2004 and again in 2008 we went undefeated, and crushed our BCS opponent. in '08 it was Alabama, their last loss before last weekend.

once again we're undefeated with a top 10 school on our schedule (TCU) and if we run the table, no chance of being National Champion. same for TCU, which is on a run of it's own.

you can't know if our 2008 team wasn't better than Florida or Texas because they never played. we can't know if we would go undefeated, not playing in a stronger conference.

the system just plain sucks, and that's why i get pissed to see "National Champion" when the BCS doesn't represent the nation.

it only represents six conferences.

I want Boise State to play TCU for the national championship ... then, finally, the conferences will realize that the current system is pathetic.

Perhaps only then will they change it into something decent.

What I find ridiculous is that the computers have Oregon beneath LSU (excluding Sagarin, who produces the only good computer rankings) when Oregon annihilated Tennessee on the road and LSU got lucky against them at home.

First, I agree that the BCS is fucked up.

Second, it's the BCS National Championship Game, burnzz. So it's somewhat caveated...but the issues with the system are still there.

Third, having two non-BCS conference schools play in the championship game would prove nothing. They need to have a BCS and a non-BCS conference team play in the championship game to put all this to rest.

Fourth, I'm a die-hard Oklahoma fan, but I don't think they deserve a BCS #1 at this point. Beat Mizzou next week soundly and maybe, but not right now.
