well then you can drink the milk separate? im just trying to say that the fact that he doesn't have enough milk doesn't mean he can't have two protein shakes per day.Zimmer wrote:

Take it as soon as possible after a work out and rest days is good too. Tbh I would be doing what my mate does (2 shakes a day) if I had enough milk, but I never have any.
besides, if you're serious about gaining muscles, you won't care what something tastes like.
I'm still sore from my last workout
depend if its your first chess workout, if it is then it is going to sore for a couple of daysFinray wrote:

Did about 2 hours of soccer today; good cardio. Strainged my right calve a bit though... I'll see how it feels tomorrow.
no. Protein shake (no matter the brand) tastes like ass without milk, literally make me gag, I just eat more protein instead if I don't have milk.HaiBai wrote:

When i had Sci-mentor shakes, i only ever had them with water. They tasted pretty good tbh.
The stuff i have now tastes nowhere near as good with or without milk.

Chocolate Milkshake or Peanut butter chocolate, tastes divine even with water and stays thick even with water.
If I'm trying to burn off some fat, should I be looking to gain weight by drinking more milk or would that be counter productive?
burning fat and gaining weight is simultaneously is hard to do. I would cut the milk for now, or drink skim/1%ghettoperson wrote:

I know this thread seems to have turned into a hardcore muscle building thread, but sometimes it's nice to keep things simple.
I'm just doing a shitload of press ups and their various variations and crunches and their various variations (they say bicycle is the best kind, so i do that mostly)
I'm not looking to pack serious muscle, but I'm working out and eating much better and overral I'd say I'm much more toned/defined and feeling great. I'm just making sure I'm working out as many major muscle groups as I can in the cheapest way possible. So variants of press ups and crunches is the way to go for me
I don't hold back though, mostly I go pretty crazy with the amounts I do. It gets tedious but that's just a psychological barrier to get through

JML Iron Gym mate. Great great tool for exercise. Trust me, if you want cheap, that's going to be your best investment. That is... if you have a door frame you can do it on.Mekstizzle wrote:

I've been finding the Allmax Isoflex to be the best all around powder I've had. So good for smoothies after the gym, tastes and mixes really well.
Sorry Zimm.... Myofusion is pretty good too, isnt it fairly affordable in the UK?Zimmer wrote:

I put two scoops in my nalgene after i get home from the gym and fill it about 3/4 with milk and shake like mad. Does it matter if I do it like that?
250-300ml of milk or water.
shake it as much as you want, i sometimes use a hand blender to real whip that shit up.

My lower back is aching lol.
Only could manage one 270lbs Deadlift rep last week, together with some other working sets.
Managed 4x270lbs and 5x270lbs to finish it off (+ few sets before that). Feelsgoodman
