well, in Norway we have Bagatelle which has two stars but the main chef left so I assume they'll be long gone shortly. 'tis the only one with more than one star currently.
It's just way too expensive in Norway (And Norwegians have no problems with eating at home), so running a profitable restaurant is near impossible.
Nodee would probably be your best bet for a good dinner that's not too expensive. They have an awesome crispy duck.

It's a revolving restaurant on top of Telstra Tower in Canberra. It might sound kinda lame, but the views are awesome, the food is great and the interior is nice too. It takes about an hour and a half to do a full revolution so over the course of a meal and some drinks you get to see the entire surrounding area.
Food is fairly traditional in terms of Aussie/European dishes, but they keep a good staff since its one of those places that everybody has to go to at least once when they are in Canberra. Went there with my parents after the graduation parade of my initial officer training, hope to go back again

Best places in western mass, nothing. Go to eastern mass. Bubs BBQ aint bad, and The Hanger is fantastic for wings, but other than those choices. your better off making your own food.

Living in the caribbean does have its disadvantages, one being the lack of choice for dining out.
Having said that, an article from the Guardian a few years ago listed its top 10 bars in the world.

Lo and behold at number 4 is a place ten minutes from me! The food is nothing special, red snapper is probably their best dish, but for someone who has never been to the caribbean this place is probably as close as it gets to that classic beach bar image.
