38.00 somthing for the 5lb tub w/ 50 servings.  Walmart does have protein buts its absolute shit.  It doesnt disolve well and it tastes horrible.

Awesome legs workout today.

Finished off with Deadlifts. Got to 90kg(200lbs) last week, loaded up 100kg(200lbs) today. Did 3x5x100, then decided to add some more. Brought the total up to 110kg (240lbs) and did another 2x5. BW today was 68kg, or 150lbs.

ON is a good whey (prob my no.1 in quality and no.3 in taste), but it doesnt taste as good as syntha.  Its a leaner protein as well. 

If you can afford a little extra carbs and sugars syntha is the way to go.

Fuck yea man.  I had an ok leg day yesterday:
Squats
3 x 10 @ 275lbs
Front Squats
3 x 10 @ 135lbs
Hammy Curls
3 x 10 @ 180 lbs
I dont know what they are called but I started doing a kind of leg press on the smith machine where you lay on your back, position the bar on the arch of your feet and then press the weight up and back down.  When you come down it stretches the hammy\glute\groin area really well and just feels awesome.
3x12 @ 225lbs for these (well not really 225 since a smith machine prob more like 180lbs)
Seated Extensions
3 x 10 180lbs
Seated calf Raises
3 x 10 @ 120lbs
Calf Horse
3 x 10 @ 115lbs

My squat has been going up steadily on this 5x5 program, which is good especially because they were lagging. However my bench still has not gone up I'm pushing it up next week no matter what.

Wait how the hell do you do that crazy shit on the smith machine! You must have monkey feet! You've got to twist and push-up to unlock the smith machine. Do you get someone to unlock it for you?

Finally got my sleeping pattern right again going to start going again properly. Did 75kg on bench yesterday hoping to add some onto that next week. Might start taking a photo every week and see how it goes.

you have to rotate our smith machine back (towards you) to unlock at our gym and forward to relock. I just kinda push up with my heels while the bar is on the arch of my foot and it rotates the bar back.  Pressure from the toe/pad area rotates the bar forward.

I've been wondering.. I never get sore from workouts, not even after having a hard squat or DL day, I just won't feel sore the day after.. Does this mean I haven't worked the muscle hard enough or something? I've googled around a bit and heard that DOMS isn't such a good indicator, but still...

No, I wouldnt go as far as to say that you didnt work hard enough.  Im not entirely sure why you're not sore.. But I have the same symptoms often as well.  The only parts of me that ever get sore are my legs and rarely my chest.  I have to work pretty damn hard though to get a sore chest.

Jebus what kind of training are you doing now?  Hypertrophy, strength??

Your muscles shouldn't be sore the next day if you're taking protein. Protein will stop that stiffness in the morning or during the next day.

Also, if you're in a constant routine your muscles get used to the workouts and don't get sore. They should only be sore if you've stopped for like 4 weeks and then started up again.

Yeah you don't get anywhere near as sore as you do once you started. Still nice to get the pain to know you're doing something though.

Ah, good to see Zimmer back in this thread, I had been wondering where you had wandered off to :p

Anyway, as Sonder said, if I hit my chest really hard, my chest will only feel a bit sore if I press on it. I started back in september, doing hypertrophy training on most bodyparts, so I'll usually aim for 12 reps, if I get to 3x12 I'll up the weight. I keep the reps low(5) for compound lifts like squats and deadlifts.

That said, I'll have to change my routine in a few weeks time, so any suggestions where I should go with that? Also, I think I could get my legs to be sore the next day if I hit them very hard, but there's only a set amount of stress I can put on my legs/knees before they start hurting too much.

Soreness is also a genetic thing. Some people just generally don't and some people almost always do. For example, if I do legs day and then sit down for a couple hours afterwards my legs get so sore I have trouble walking. It's a family trait. My dad has the same problem with his legs, and he has been bicycling for 10+ years and competes in 100+ mile rides every year.

The cable machine is on the opposite side of the gym to the benches. I usually just do standing cable flys.
