I remember playing the demo for that game on PC, then they changed it up a ton. I never bought the retail in the end though.

There is a free weekend atm because the dev. server couldn't handle the load of users...
Dumping todays work:
First I dug deep
Untill I could proceed no further without falling forever (read: world is flat)
So I had to dig long
And used my findings to replace my wooden house with stone
I then returned to the deeps and discovered LAVA!
Which I then dropped on my wooden floor
Luckily I had just finished a pool at the base of my soon-to-be tower... so water was near...
I then desided to put the stone I had dug up from the underground to forge a mighty tower..
From atop my tower I had a great view of my own little island
And I would never need to worry about getting lost again
Not even the darkness of night could hide my beacon thanks to 12 torches

To avoid compatability issues and having to hunt it down. N64 Roms are far far easier to find.
And yes. That last sky track was just insane. I must've tried that track a hundred times before I just used a cheat instead. Definitely the hardest track in any game i've ever played.
Also, just because it's awesome. One thing the game never captured was the brilliant sound effects from the movie's podracing scene. Yes half the jet engines sound like cars and trucks but it doesn't matter because they sound cool. I love the revving at the beginning and the noise of Sebulba's engines. And that really weird WOIWOIWOI one too.
I wish they'd make a new one. With today's machines they'd be able to make a game that was much closer to the feel of the film. But I don't think it'll ever happen .

Haha nice exploit. And yes I had to use a cheat. The entire track was an incredibly thin strip of track on the upper part and if you fell down you lost. And not falling down was impossible. I remember trying it endless times and the one or two times I managed to stay on the top track for the first few corners, I wasn't going fast enough to get over the jump that followed and I still ended up falling down to the bottom track.
